The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong in collaboration with the Medical Licentiate Society of Hong Kong hosted a live educational webinar on 25 March 2020 for staying physically and mentally healthy during the Covid-19 outbreak.
The Chamber, together with the Trade Commission of Spain in Hong Kong have raised HKD 480,231 for medical supplies to be bought and sent to Spain. To reach our goal of buying 200,000 masks, an additional HKD 50,000 is needed. Until 2 April, we are still accepting donations.
The Spanish Chamber, in collaboration with the Trade Commission of Spain in Hong Kong (ICEX), is launching a crowdfunding initiative with its members, partners and friends, to buy medical supplies to ship to Spain as soon as possible. Our crowdfunding campaign has been extended until 27 March to allow final processing of donations.
On 5 March 2020, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong hosted their first webinar. Titled, "How to Keep Your Business Relationships Warm amidst Coronavirus Outbreak", was held in response to the work at home policies implemented and cancellations of numerous social events. Our speaker was Tracy Ho, Board Member and Branding & Communications Consultant.
The impact of the COVID-19 virus has been felt acutely across the Hong Kong community. The Spanish Chamber of Commerce, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, wants to contribute to relief efforts to combat COVID-19 in Hong Kong with a fundraising campaign.
