Our client, an international translation and interpreting company with more than 23 years history, is looking for a SALES MANAGER for their Hong Kong office. Reporting directly to the CEO and the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will achieve maximum sales profitability and company penetration in Asian market.
Our client offers all kind of translations and interpreting services. It has gained extensive experience in technical, scientific, commercial and legal translations, among other specialist subject areas over its 23-year history. Thanks to this experience, the company enjoys a strong position in the European market and hopes to expand horizons starting by the Asian market.
The focus and aim of the company is to offer THEIR CUSTOMERS A TOP QUALITY SERVICE. The company’s distinguishing features can be summed up as:
- Highly professional and personalized service and advice.
- More than 4.000 native translators and revisers in various fields of specialization.
- The quality of their translations meets the requirements of the quality standards ISO 9001 and EN 15038.
Serve as a representative in Hong Kong and other regions of Asia;
Identify and establish business relationships with quality business professionals and referral channels;
Search and approach independently potential clients to introduce company services and discuss client needs;
Managing and strengthening relationships with existing clients through regular visits, phone calls or emails;
Participation in marketing events such as exhibitions, seminars and clients’ events.
Bachelor degree or higher, preferably majoring in international trade, international relations, translation and interpreting, business administration, etc.
Must speak and write fluent English and Spanish, knowledge of Mandarin and Cantonese will be a plus;
1-2 years’ sales and marketing experience in consulting business;
Must be a sales-oriented, effective and persuasive communicator;
Self-motivated, result-oriented and able to work independently;
Must possess the right to take up employment in Hong Kong.
Full-time (flexible working hours; the candidate will manage his/her time as he/she wants);
Weekly or daily reporting to supervisor;
Travelling cost reimbursement;
Salary: 18,000EUR to 20,000EUR of fixed income per year plus a variable income of 8% of the sales/month (negotiable)
